Hand-woven in the north-west corner of Persia, Tabriz rug weaving dates back to thousands of years ago.

Tabriz rugs are well known for the tightness of their weave and the high number of knots per square inch.

The most common Tabriz design consists of a central medallion surrounded by cypresses and weeping willows, although there are many variations of Tabriz rugs that have evolved and changed over the many years of their existence.

We recommend these pieces for high traffic living areas.
